I am a death/black metal drummer looking for a new snare drum. I need something with good recoil because I do a lot of blast and gravity blast beats. I've narrowed it down to 5 choices. What do you guys think?

Rebound comes from head choice and tuning, not the brand of drum so don't worry about that. Honestly the Joey Jordison snare is the only one of that bunch that I've played and it sounded great. I don't think you'd get the sound you want with the 5" Panther. Any of the others would be fine, but the JJ is my first choice.

i might say attempt tightening the backside head. maximum deadness comes from the backside being too unfastened. additionally. attempt a distinctive snare head like the evan's hybrid lined snare battered head.

You consult a music teacher on a good deal
